Error when sending email

    Hi,

    since yesterday, I have the following error when sending an email.

    2021-03-02 11:08:04 CLIENT -> SERVER: QUIT
    2021-03-02 11:08:04 SERVER -> CLIENT: 221 “domain” Service closing transmission channel
    2021-03-02 11:08:04 Connection: closed

    There was a problem while sending the test email.

    In log details I found this:

    ErrorInfo: SMTP Error: data not accepted.SMTP server error: DATA END command failed Detail: Mail quota exceeded for contact@xxxxx : You have exceeded the limit of 200 messages per hour and per account. Please, re-try later.
    SMTP code: 550 Additional SMTP info: 5.7.0

    the problem is that I haven’t used the 200 messages… I integrated reCAPTCHA V3 to the form.

    It happened without making any updated. Even after updating to version 2.6.0 I still have the same issue.
    I changed nothing and still have the same conf data(login, pass,smtp host,…).

    Could you please assist?

    Thanks for reaching out. Your site is probably sending emails without your awareness and so your site is reaching the sending limit per hour. You can install some email logging plugins to check the emails sent or your SMTP provider may also have email logs you can check.

    I had an email log plugin but wasn’t working properly. I don’t know how but it’s working now.
