    Hi!

I have a new client and in his Search Console AMP reports I have around 120 errors related to Web Stories due to the lack of the “poster” tag inside the “amp-video” tag.

Can anyone let me know if there is any solution that reprocesses all the Web Stories to resolve this issue? Manually removing the video from the Web Stories and re-adding it is resolved. But it is impossible to edit 120 Web Stories.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @olucasguedes thanks for getting in touch. I can see a few AMP validation errors as you mention on the story example you have given.

There isn’t a process for you to be able to do this so if this was the issue for them all you would need to do this for all the stories.

Before you do this however I can see that WP Rocket is being used on the site. Can I check if the minification options for JavaScript/CSS files is switched on? You can find this by going to Settings > WP Rocket > File Optimization and the options will be labelled ‘Minify CSS files‘ and ‘Minify JavaScript files‘.

If these are currently enabled could you try disabling these options and clearing cache from the plugin. Then check your stories once more from an Incognito browsing window using the AMP validator.

Let me know how this goes.

As we haven’t received a response we’ll close this topic as resolved but feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to experience any issues. Thank you!
