Error when publishing a comment

I can see you mentioned that your users are having issues connecting their Facebook/WP account for the commenting feature; however, I tested on our website and my Facebook account was authenticated successfully.

Can you ask them to try within an incognito window/tab of their browser? They may also try to clear the cache of their browser.

Thank you for clarifying that. I can see that your website’s layout is broken when using the email option, so the “comment” button is not appearing. I’d suggest trying to switch to another theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Four and checking the form again. If it appears normally and shows the “Comment” button, then your current theme is the culprit, and you’ll have to contact the theme developer.

You can also disable all other plugins in case a caching plugin is interfering and hiding the “Comment” button.

Let us know what you get with those adjustments.

I cant replicate the hidden button you mention, could you please share a screenshot?

Thanks for getting back to us.

I was able to see the notice saying Nonce verification failed when trying to comment on your your post using an email address. That said, I was intermittently having issues accessing the comment button, just like my colleague mentioned before. See screenshot below:

Could you please tell us if you are seeing the same issues once you have reverted to a default theme and disabled all plugins except Jetpack? You can use a plugin like the Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin to simulate a clean WordPress session with all other plugins disabled and a default theme used.

Thank you! After deactivating all plugins I find out that the issue is related with the Antispam Bee plugin that I use to control spam. Any advice or should I try contacting them?

They might be able to provide a specific solution or update to their plugin that resolves the conflict.

In the meantime, you might want to check within the Antispam Bee settings to see if there’s an option that could be causing this.

That said, have you ever experimented with Jetpack’s Anti-spam solution as an alternative to the third-party anti-spam plugin you just disabled?

Since you already have Jetpack installed and configured on your site, enabling the anti-spam feature should be straightforward.
