Error when posting to Twitter

    Hello, I get an error that says this:

    Buffer API Error: #1004: Hmm, it looks like the message is too long for Twitter.

    So I tried to play around with the settings and I ended up on this: New Post: {title} {url} {excerpt:sentences(3)}

    But the error is the same, it seems like Twitter wants to post the WHOLE post regardless of what settings I put.

    Originally it was supposed to post just the excerpt which is usually one sentence but even with that setting, I received the same error when it comes to posting on Twitter. Facebook works fine but Twitter is failing. It looks like a possible bug?

    Not reproducing, observing sentence limits work per screenshots.

    If you believe this is a bug, you’re welcome to provide:

    1. Screenshot of settings at WP to Buffer > Settings > Posts > Defaults > Publish, showing the configured status is absolutely set to New Post: {title} {url} {excerpt:sentences(3)}
    2. Screenshot of published Post showing the defined Excerpt and log. Enable logging if necessary.
