    Hi,

    I have an issue with the Place Order button on my website when using the PayPal gateway.

    The issue is that when I select PayPal as the payment option the Place Order button doesn’t function. It just displays ‘Error processing checkout. Please try again.’ The payment will process when you click the PayPal button so the settings are correct, but the issue is that the place order button doesn’t work.

    The Place Order button functions correctly when using the credit cards option, so the issue only occurs when the PayPal option is selected.

    Would you have a solution to this?

    Please don’t ask me to ask the theme’s developer because they’ve just referred me to the forum.

    in our current PayPal plugin, it is not possible to use the standard WooCommerce “Place Order” button, but you only have the option to confirm the PayPal payment via the PayPal button.

    Normally when you choose the PayPal payment option in the checkout, you would only get the PayPal branded button, but it seems in your setup the WooCommerce button is forced into the checkout (probably by the Theme or custom code). However, this does not make the button work, since PayPal does not allow this at the moment.

    Currently, we do not have a solution to use the WooCommerce standard button for our payment option. Sorry, we can’t give you a more satisfying answer than this.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the advice. The theme’s developer has taken a look at the issue and thinks that the Woocommerce PayPal Payments plugin could be causing the issue as it always worked when PayPal standard was used.

    Is there a way to revert the payment system back to PayPal Standard?
