Error when I upload media

Hello guys,

I am having a bit of a problem.

Every time I try to upload a new media file I am getting this error:

“myFile.mp3” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/mySite.org/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.

My settings in Media are set to upload files to that directory

I recently made a change to the site and had it set up for multi-site. i then reverted back to a normal install and now i’m getting these errors.

Are there any files that I need to overwrite with the backup version of our site.
