Error when downloading plugin

    Hello,

    When trying to download the plugin I get the following error message “Installationen misslyckades: M?lmappen finns redan.” which basically means that the download failed: since there is already a folder.

    I can’t seem to overcome this problem. Would be grateful for any help.

    Hello @mojjaan thanks for opening a support topic with us.

    In order to install the plugin successfully do you have FTP access to your site, or are you comfortable accessing your sites file manager from your hosting control panel? If so you can safely delete the existing “google-site-kit” directory which you’ll find after navigating to “wp-content/plugins” before attempting to install Site Kit once more.

    If you’re uncomfortable manually deleting or renaming the Site Kit folder directory you can ask your current hosting provider.

    Let me know how you get on with the above, or if you have any queries with the process.
