When viewing the backup logs and selecting multiple files to delete and then selecting the Bulk action to Delete, I get this error each time I try:

Fatal error: Call to a member function file_delete() on a non-object in /home/content/74/9518474/html/clonewp1/wp/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/inc/class-page-backups.php on line 341

    Further…
I then manually deleted the backup files (in the uploads folder) using FTP. But the list of backups in Backwpup “Backups” menu still shows the old list of files. It doesn’t appear to be reading the list of files from the folder directory.

    I’m seeing the same issue.

I’ve had no errors reported when deleting the logs

But I’ve also seen the problem where files manually deleted in FTP show in the list of “backups” and there seems to be no way to remove them. Deleting a missing file displays

You are about to delete this Backup Archive.
‘Cancel’ to stop, ‘OK’ to delete.

And returns without error and without removing the file from the list

    Hello,

now i have found the bug and fixed it.

The list of backups will only generated when a Backup is created.
This is for performance reason and to reduce traffic.

Excellent! Thanks. Assuming we’ll need to wait for the next version for the fix to be put into place?

    Just my 2 cents.
I suggest that when you display a list of backups from the “Folder”, that you always read from the current directory list. If the backups do not physically exist, please do not display them. That’s like saying you have money in your bank account, but you really don’t. Thanks Daniel.

    Ok i will check it.

I’ve experienced the same problem–error on attempting to delete backups through the BackWPup plugin, and then when I then delete them manually they still appear in the backups list.

If you’re not updating the backups list automatically, how about a “refresh backups list” button that’s available in the “backups” screen?

Thanks for your otherwise superb backup utility!

Daniel, i know many of us are waiting for an update to fix these issues (such as: accurate list of backups in folder, put pclzip option back, remove large sdk folder). Any estimate for when you will have an update? Thanks!
