Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

Receiving that error every time I try to change something in my editor.
Can someone please walk me through how to fix this.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • What php are you trying to change in the editor? Which editor are you talking about?

Footer.php I was trying to take out “proudly powered by…” and put something else.

I’m also having trouble removing the carousel at the top of my page.

It is NOT good practice to edit the core template files from the back end. Use a text editor and download the file via ftp, edit and re-upload. Link to your site doesn’t not work. Are you using a custom or child theme? If not, your changes will be lost when the theme is updated.

I have reached out to the theme support page so I will mark this as resolved, thank you.
