    no still issue – just updated site and same error message appears.. What gives?

    I don’t know that either of us are able to produce the same error.
    Try deleting the plugin, then reinstalling from the latest release.

    Still having to use 2.7.1 due to this error on this site. Has a fix been placed or resolution created?

    I’ve viewed your video and am curious what error is causing this.
    Did you check the browser console when Pods 2.7.28 is enabled?

    Did you also test just installing the latest version after removing the pods folder from FTP? So not updating but just installing the latest version.

    Also, did you test with the latest dev version? pods.io/latest

    Well, no, the fix Scott addressed is in Freemius SDK, not Pods.
    You can apply this patch yourself by editing the files (see patch below) or opting out of Freemius.
