Hi so even after updating the plugin that should have the patch my website is still displaying a fatal error. I tried deactivating the plugin as well. Only way to access the backend of the site is through WordPress recovery mode.

Here is the error I get:

    Fatal error: Uncaught TEC\Common\Exceptions\Not_Bound_Exception: Error while making \Tribe\Extensions\Event_Link_To_Website_URL\Plugin: class ‘tad_DI52_ServiceProvider’ not found. in /home/customer/www/”sitetitle”/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Common/Contracts/Container.php:27 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/”sitetitle”/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/vendor/vendor-prefixed/lucatume/di52/src/Container.php(453): TEC\Common\Contracts\Container->get(‘\\Tribe\\Extensio…’) #1 /home/customer/www/”sitetitle”/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Container.php(305): TEC\Common\lucatume\DI52\Container->register(‘\\Tribe\\Extensio…’) #2 /home/customer/www/”sitetitle”/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-link-events-to-website-urls/plugin.php(52): tribe_register_provider(‘\\Tribe\\Extensio…’) #3 /home/customer/www/”sitetitle”/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(308): tribe_extension_ in?/home/customer/www/”sitetitle”/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Common/Contracts/Container.php?on line?27

I replaced the site name with “sitetitle” for privacy reasons.

Not sure why that error message is still showing, the site won’t load at all if not logged into recovery mode.

Any idea why? I also did restore the site from a clean backup before updating and nothing changed.

    Best,

    Allison

  • had a similar issue. I had to remove the ‘Remove Past Events’ plugin using FTP or the File Manager of your host.

@willoftheweb odd I don’t see that plugin listed. Seems like everything I try the error message won’t go away. I can’t even get it to show in the logs.

A bit more context to my issue:

These are all the events calendar plugins that are on the site:

    -The Events Calendar
    -The Events Calendar Countdown Addon
-The Events Calendar Extension: Event Titles Link to Website URL –
    -The Events Calendar Extension: Relabeler
-LearnDash LMS – The Events Calendar Integration
    -Event Tickets
-Paid Memberships Pro – Events Add On

I deactivated all of those plugins, nothing changed. I also reverted Events Calendar to 6.1.1, nothing changed.

Really at a loss here. ??

Our team launched a version earlier that should address this issue.

Before reporting anything back, please ensure that:

    • You have manually updated to Version 2.9.18 of Pods.
    • You are on the latest version of Event Tickets (5.6.1.2) and The Events Calendar (6.1.2.2)
    • If you have Virtual Events, specifically updated the Virtual Events manually to (1.5.1)
    • All of the other premium add-ons are properly updated to their latest versions

If you are still running into issues after that, please make sure you include the error log message that you are seeing, as well as what particular Extension triggers the Fatal when active.

@d0153 Thanks for checking in. Turns out it was also a caching issue with Cloudflare, it was caching the error page which made it look like it wasn’t fixed. The site is working now.
