    I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help!
    Can you please share if you have any other image optimization plugin that uses webp conversion besides the W3 Total Cache?
    Also, please check and make sure that some Security plugin is not blocking this.
    Please check your debug.log by enabling wp_debug and checking the log file. This will help identify where the issue is once the extension is enabled.
