    Hi Autoptimize Team,

Love the plugin, however I keep having the follow error several times a week:

“The resource from “…wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_e5fa005b5dc6d3d7707fcd6d22ccfdcc.css” was blocked due to MIME type (“text/html”) mismatch (X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff)”

Every time this error happens breaks the website layout. Im having serious difficulties in finding any solution for this. Seems that other people are having the same issue but I don’t see any solutions. Please help.

    Regards,

that typically happens when you (or some plugin) cleared the AO cache without the page cache having been cleared justpaulo, in which case the standard WordPress 404 page is shown which indeed is text/html instead of css or js. Make sure the page cache is _always_ cleared when AO’s is, that should prevent this problem from happening.

    hope this helps,
    frank

Can you elaborate on the process for this? I’m having the same issue and am not sure how to ensure that the page cache is “_always_cleared” When AO’s is.

    Thanks,
    Aaron

“ensure that the page cache is ‘_always_ cleared’ When AO’s is” == Manually clearing your page cache (can’t tell you as that depends on what page cache you’re using) every time AO’s is cleared Aaron.

@optimizingmatters When you say “page cache” I assume you mean the browser’s cache?

no, mainly server-side caching solutions actually; plugins (e.g. WP Super cache) or server components (Nginx caching) or caching done by your host (often Varnish) or caching done by Cloudflare (page caching is off their by default) or Sucuri or … ??
