Error: Warning Unresponsive Script in Firefox and IE

  • Starting getting this error after a recent update and disabled all plugins then enabled one by one, and it’s this plugin that is causing the error.
    I’m hoping you can give it a quick look and it’s just a simple jquery change:

    Error in Firefox ver 29:

    A script on this page may be busy or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

    There are buttons for continue and stop script, and neither button allows you to exit out, and it locks up the browser and all other open tabs.

    Error in IE 9: Just hangs and locks the browser.
    Chrome 34: No Error, template displays exactly as expected.

    Hi,
    sorry for delay, I’ve tested it on ff 29 and it works fine. For me it looks more like problem with your jq.

    We fixed the problem by removing the plugin and installing the soliloquy slider instead. Sorry, we couldn’t wait. And yes, it was obvious there was a conflict somewhere, but needed some assistance if we were going to sort it out.
