Error [W007] when attempting to upload extra image date.

    I am suddenly unable to upload extra per image data to the webform. This is the message I receive: [W007] GCPS.PACTExtraDataGallery.csv: Found filename: GCPS.PACTExtraDataGallery.csv, detected type: application/vnd.ms-excel. Sorry, the file must be of type “text/csv”
    My file is a CSV type so not sure why this is happening. I’ve been able to upload in the past without a problem.

    There has been no change to ewz that should affect detection of the file type, so I think it must be either the content of the file or its extension.

    When saving the file from excel, make sure you select the correct type. ( Sorry, I don’t have Excel to check what the options are, but it needs to be plain text in csv format )

    And make quite sure it has the extension “.csv”.

    Thank you for your prompt reply Josie. I have discovered that this a windows 10 issue. Tried the upload on my old laptop which is XP using the same file. Uploaded without a problem. I have recently upgraded my desktop to windows 10. Not sure where to go from here.

    Sorry it took so long, but I have finally figured out that Windows assigns a type of “excel” even to plain text files if the have a .csv extension.

    As you can guess, I rarely use Windows, but I should have tested this facility on it.

    I’ve put out a new release (1.2.23) that I hope should fix the problem.
