Error using theme

  • I am getting this on a site that I updated this morning and also on a fresh (and updated) install of WordPress.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home4/harding/public_html/shanetidmore.com/wp2/wp-content/themes/smallblog/functions.php on line 3

    I saw a previous post from three months ago where someone had a similar problem with this theme, but there was never a reply. I am hoping to find a solution soon because I really like this theme and already have another website using it (well, it was before it broke).
