    HI,
I am having issues activating my WooCommerce plugin. When I hit activate I am sent to a page that reads “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” The information I received in my email is attached below.

I would greatly appreciate the steps to take to correct this.

    Thank you!
    Avery

I should also mention technology and I don’t have the greatest understanding of one another. If you could please advise in a 1st grade level. ??

    Hi @averysavenue!

This is usually due to a conflict with either your theme or another plugin, and I would recommend you temporarily switch to a default theme, like Storefront, to see if the issue persists. If the issue goes away, then you’ll need to contact your theme author to resolve this. If the issue is still there, then you’ll need to disable all your plugins, except for WooCommerce, to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, please re-enable your features one at a time until it breaks again, and then contact the author of the conflicting plugin.

We have full instructions on how to do a conflict test here:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Do let us know how it goes.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Thank you for your help! I believe it has been resolved.

I think there was a conflict with the Elementor plugin. That was the only reactivation that gave a pop up about WooCommerce and failed to activate on the first attempt. After updating WooCommerce, Elementor activated with no problem.

    Again, Thank you!
