Error uploading images

    I am trying to upload an image to my wife’s blog and I keep getting an error message that says the following:

    “P1010666.JPG” has failed to upload due to an error
    Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/sitename.co.uk/httpdocs/blog/uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Could someone help me with this, I have no idea how to sort it out, I did try to change the Settings/Media/Store uploads in this folder: uploads (that’s what I have called it)
