Greetings! I tried to upgrade from 2.8.6 to 2.9 and received a fatal error message. Later, after it came out, I tried to upgrade to 2.9.1 and received the message again only this time I copied it!!

Here is: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2516315 bytes) in /home4/sailingf/public_html/faithstoriesonline/wp-includes/http.php on line 1331

Anybody have any ideas what this means an how to fix it? Is it my problem or my ISP provider’s problem?

I have a new HP with Win7 and 6 gigs of ram.

    Thanks!
    Nick

    Hi Samboll!!

I finally got up the courage to add your line of code. I backed up the file first as you suggested. Changed the code then tried to install the latest WP upgrade.

It worked beautifully!!!! Thank you so much for your help!!

    Later!
    Nick
