Error Updating the database

  • I’m trying install the Disqus plug in. The installation goes smoothly. When I click on configure I receive the following error message:

    403 Permission Denied

    You do not have permission for this request /wp-admin/edit-comments.php?page=disqus&step=

    The permission on the page in question was 644. I changed it temporarily to 777 and still get the same error message. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    I have tried to disable all plugins during the upgrade, deleted the htaccess file, change the theme but non of these options worked. Any ideas?

    Same thing happening here. can’t figure out why its happening.
