Error: Uncaught TypeError: jQuery

We’re running into this similar error which blocks deployment to WPEngine (our webs host):

PHP Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected 'private' (T_PRIVATE), expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in ./wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress/vendor/google/auth/src/Cache/TypedItem.php on line 46

We’ve tried this running PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.0

After updating to 5.8.0.4 WPEngine still blocks deployment if we include the SEOPress plugin due to this PHP error:

@creativeslice this code is provided by Google. We’ll see if there is an update.

@creativeslice can confirm you already had the issue with SEOPress 5.7 please?
We’ll downgrade the code provided by Google to a previous one to support PHP < 8.1 and we want to make sure it will work with your host.

I use wp rocket to migrate the jquery version but in core web vital this error is coming.
