Error trying to send your message

    Hi

    At around 11.00am this morning, on submit, all the forms on one of my sites started showing “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

    The site has been working perfectly for months, I used the forms myself only days ago. No new plugins have been added, no theme, function or settings amends have been made since it was all working correctly.

    Initially some plugins needed updating, which I have done, so everything is running it’s latest versions.

    I switched all other plugins off, but the error still occurs.

    I’ve noted some other forum members are having a similar issue.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • The exact same thing happened to me in three different sites, with no apparent reason. There are no configuration errors and the forms used to work.

    Spent the whole of yesterday afternoon trying to fix this unsuccessfully. Got up this morning and all the forms are working correctly again. Spooky

    Unfortunately I still have no idea what caused this or how to correct it if this happens again, other than cross my fingers and wait.

    In my case it was my own fault. A few days ago I upgraded MariaDB from 5.6 to 10, which removed postfix and I just happened to notice it yesterday. As soon as I installed postfix on the server the forms worked again.

    Mine still doesnt work. is there no support on this ?
