• Hello,

I’ve noticed on multiple occasions during development and testing of multiple forms on my site, that when I hit submit, I get the standard orange error “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

Immediately after I get the message, I hit send and it goes through successfully.

Any ideas why this is happening? Or how to enable log capturing to see what is tripping it up?

    Thanks

  • @pmagony – your case sounds like it could be due to a JavaScript conflict with your WP theme or one of the other plugins you are using.

The failing & then sending indicates a JavaScript delay.

Switch temporarily (nothing will be lost when you switch back) to a WP default theme & disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7 to see if the problem goes away.

If it does you can switch back to your theme & re-activate each plugin one by one to see when the problem occurs.

Or how to enable log capturing to see what is tripping it up?
