    Hello

I’m having trouble trying to access the plugin’s options. When I try to access, the following message appears: Sorry, we’ve experienced some error.

I installed this plugin hoping to fix the icons on my site that have turned into squares.

While editing offline through xampp, everything was working fine. I did not expect that I would have this problem when uploading to a host.

Is there any way to fix this without using the plugin? I’m using Shop Keeper theme

Hi @rodfernandes, thanks for trying the plugin. That error message you’re seeing is a general fallback error, which would only show up in a really unexpected situation. So it would require rolling up the sleeves a bit to track down the cause, which would help me improve things if you’re available to have a closer look.

I’d be particularly interested in seeing anything that shows up in the Javascript console (in the web browser) when this error occurs, and also any related errors in server side logs.

But it sounds like your more immediate concern is resolving the problem with icons showing up as boxes. How to solve this would depend upon how your site is currently trying to load the icons, and (often) whether there are any themes or plugins trying to load conflicting versions.

Also, are you using Font Awesome Pro with our Pro CDN by chance? If so, make sure that the web domain of the host to which you’ve uploaded the site has been added to your allowed Pro CDN domains in your fontawesome.com account (localhost is there by default for local development).

I’ve just released version 4.0.0-rc8. Could you try that new version in your scenario and see if it makes a difference?

Resolving this since I think this problem has been fixed by more recent releases. If not, please provide details about how to reproduce your problem and I can investigate further.
