    Hi @lateamfoods,

When is the issue occurring exactly?

Are you using the classic editor or Gutenberg editor?

Does your post have a featured image? If it does, can you try doing a share without the featured image?

    Thanks,

When is the issue occurring exactly? When I press the button to connect with my LinkedIn account.

Are you using the classic editor or Gutenberg editor? I am using Gutenberg and it is styled by “Divi”

Does your post have a featured image? If it does, can you try doing a share without the featured image? Actually I never could connect to my account.

Please tell me If you need more info.

    Hi @lateamfoods,

Thanks for that info, ok I see you are having issues actually just connecting with your account. As this issue is just being reported by you now, I suspect the issue is specific to your environment. Because if there’s a general issue, like an error with the plugin code or a server issue on LinkedIn’s end, I get like dozens of support requests on the same thing in a short period of time. I can’t repeat the issue on my end as well.

So what I am thinking is you might have like a security plugin or firewall which is blocking that connection attempt to LinkedIn. I would try deactivating all other plugins except ours and trying the connection process again. Hopefully that works. If it does, then you can slowly re-activate your other plugins and you can see which one is the culprit and perhaps adjust the settings in that plugin. If that does not solve the issue, then you may wish to speak to your host and ask them whether they have any kind of firewall on the site which might be blocking outgoing connections.

    Thanks,

Thank you so much. We solved the problem by updating our php version.

But actually, we are having other problems right now.

It is possible to share post with icons? We are trying to share posts using icons like this one, for example ??.

But in the LinkedIn post, I can only see the code of the incon like this : 🌟.

I have tried to put their code as shortcode but there is no case.

    Hi @lateamfoods,

I am glad you were able to solve your issue. I don’t believe the icons are supported through the LinkedIn API unfortunately.
