Error Too Many Redirects

    Hello,

    This plugin runs smoothly (and quickly!) up until yesterday. After I updated the plugin to latest version, upon activating the plugin, the page redirects to https://www.aplus.co.id/wp-admin/admin.php?page=metaslider-start and shows an error page (“www.aplus.co.id redirected you too many times. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”). This makes the whole wp-admin area inaccessible.

    I’ve tried typing the wp-admin URL manually, still doesn’t work. I’ve also tried clearing cookies and using other browsers, still doesn’t work. However, after deleting the plugin via cPanel, the issue is solved.

    Please advise on how to solve this issue. Thank you!

    Hi @nthn92. Thanks for using MetaSlider.

    This isn’t a problem we’ve had reported before and the last version of the plugin has been out for a week now. So that leads me to believe this is a site-specific issue. My best guess is that upgrade process didn’t complete correctly. Perhaps there was a timeout on the site as the files were being transferred. It might be worth deleting the existing version of MetaSlider on your site and then installing it again.
