    Hey @adminjwcom,

Thanks for reaching out. We’re currently aware of an issue affecting merchants trying to connect the plugin, and have reached out to Facebook directly to see what might be the cause.

We’re working with their team to provide merchant information so they can target their investigation to live cases of the issue, and will update the forum as soon as we can.

If you’d like to help with this, it would be great if you could please raise a support request via our support form and let us know the Facebook profile email address and business manager ID. This would be used by the Facebook support team to find your specific connection and help troubleshoot it further.

You can find your Busines Manager ID by:

    • Going to the Business Manager page.
    • Selecting the business they wanted to connect to.
    • Checking the URL – you should see a business_id value there.

Could you let me know if you’ll be reaching out to us directly, or if you’d prefer to wait for the response from Facebook?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

    Hello @adminjwcom !
I have the problem that you!
Can you explain to me that plugin made you downgrade ?

    Thread Starter JWCOM

    (@adminjwcom)

Look for Facebook for WooCommerce version 1.11 e go to download
in you panel of control go to plugin disable plugin Facebook for WooCommerce and excluid this after this
install Facebook for WooCommerce version 1.11

    Thank You @adminjwcom !!

    What i did:

    1.rollback to 1.11.4
    2.reconfigured with page and pixel
    3.upgraded to 2.0.1
    4.downgraded to 1.11.4
5.noticed that pixel ID was different from the configured on item 2.

It seems that v2.0.1 is trying to use another account that does not have some new policy accepted..

    still trying to understand

it was trying to connect with my personal ad account and pixel.
also noticed that the business pixel was not connected with the business ad account.

    Hi folks,

A quick update after the weekend, we’ve been escalated to an internal team at Facebook for this to be investigated further. As soon as we hear back from them, we’ll of course let you know.

The reason the older version continues to work is due to the difference in API’s used between versions. Version 2 uses the very latest Facebook API to connect your store, and this relies on settings within your Business Manager account. The older version was released before the new version was available, and therefore has no access token connection to manage specific products individually, manual sync single products, and control the visibility of products either. Instead it relies on the sync schedule setup in your Facebook catalog which is polled hourly.

Once we know more about the latest issue with the new version, I’ll circle back around ASAP. Thanks for all your patience so far!

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Hi folks!

Thanks for your patience. The Facebook team has gotten back to us and let us know they’ve implemented a change to the connection process that should have solved this issue. We’ve seen that a lot of merchants who had reported this previously have no been able to connect.

If you haven’t already tried, please do give the connection another go and let us know of any further issues!

I’m going to resolve this topic thread now that it seems to be fixed. Thanks again for your patience while we worked with the Facebook team on this issue.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Hello,

The problem still exists. I cannot select my customer’s page. Only product catalogue and pixel.

    Hi @hubitgr,

Thanks for reaching out about the plugin. I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue as well. Since you’re not the person who originally started this topic then, per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic? We’ll be more than happy to help there ??

    Thanks,
    Marcus
