• Unable to access the wp-admin page and also receiving “This site cannot be accessed” error when I try to access the site through WordPress profile. Please help, very urgent!

  • It looks like you can access the login page via https://themeowcode.com/wp-login.php but there is an error about unexpected output there. You can try logging in there but I expect it will not work.

    If you have access to the hosting account or FTP you can try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for your reply!

    I tried deactivating the plugins manually, but that didn’t work.

    When i deactivate the theme – the site doesn’t switch to the default theme, instead it just shows me a blank page.

    Please let me know if anything else can be done.
