open search.php and find then delete that line:

But the search continues with error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function _content_nav () in / home / novatoga / public_html / wp-content / themes / simply-vision / search.php on line 26

You are sure you deleted that line out of search.php?
<?php _content_nav( ‘nav-below’ ); ?>

I’ve just re-done that and it fixed it for me.
