    Hi

Im trying to create a label but I get this error:

“The sender customs reference “value” must be an alphanumeric”

I’ve tried leaving it empty and I’ve tried my EORI and VAT numbers on the field but it still gives me this error.

    Any advice would be appreaciated!

Can you confirm which country your webshop is based in?

You’re saying you cannot leave this field empty or set any value?

Just as a side note I was able to fill these orders in https://www.packet.deutschepost.com/group/portal-europe and there the system accepted my EORI number with no problems.

In Woocommerce I can’t leave it empty and it does not accept any value I put in it.

Would you be able to confirm in the log file if these fields are being passed correctly to the API?

If I understand the logs correctly there’s only two that are not related to this error….

Again a new observation, it seems that with other orders leaving the field empty is not a problem and I was able to create a label. It might be that it is only a problem with this specific order?

Do you see the values being passed in “importerTaxId” and “senderTaxId” as you entered them for the specific order?

For the order that gives the error I do not believe any info is passed into the error logs but I can’t be sure as I don’t understand the logs fully.

For the other order that accepts the field it passes the values correctly to the log.

As a side question the “Sender customs reference:” should be the EORI number right? But the EORI number has a dash (-) that is not an accepted value? Can you clarify what I am supposed to input? VAT or EORI number?

Please email me at “dhlsupport [at] progressusmarketing.com” with the log file so I can review.

Regarding what the value should be, I am not certain. It would be best to ask DPI support directly.

    Sent the log!
