    Hi @ilirium,

Thanks for reaching out. As this specific error can have various causes please share the following and we can advise on this further:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Does this occur only if you change the Analytics account/property, or does this also appear when selecting an existing account or property?
    3. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking yourSite Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Hi I have fill the form provided .

This error occurs when I try to connect my site on Analytics. I appears both when assigning an existing account or when trying to create a new one via plugin. As I see I don’t get any REST API errors.

    Thank you in Advance!

Many thanks for sharing the additional information @ilirium. As the same is occurring whether selecting an existing account or when setting the option to create a new account, let’s perform some additional checks. Note also that I don’t spot anything unusual from checking your public REST endpoints, which can be a cause of JSON errors as reported.

    1. To determine more on this, please share your Site Health status as requested above?(Tools > Site Health > Status). This differs to the Site Health information you already shared, and it can include REST related errors.
    2. Does the same occur if you attempt set up from this temporary WordPress site with Site Kit pre-installed?
    3. Were you able to set up Site Kit with Analytics from this site previously, or from any other sites on the same hosting platform? This can help identify a host related block.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Hi, do you need a screenshot of my site health status? As i see there are no errors, but info for improvement such as plugin update and WP auto updates. ( Site kit is updated)

The link above at step 2 , is probably incorect beacuse it redirects to the plugin page.

Actually its the first site i connected to site kit via this hosting platform. Can i perform further checks to identify a host related block?

    Thanks!

@ilirium Thanks for the information. Regarding step 2, can you please try this again using this link?

Do you have other WordPress sites with other hosting providers where you use Site Kit? If so, does Site Kit work as expected on those sites?

Hi, when i used the link above i connected to analytics. No issue. Another site on the same hosting provider gives me the same issue ( JSON response). What else can i do?

    Thanks

Hi again, i resolved the issue by my hosting provider. Servers firewall was the issue, so i contact the hosting support and everything now works fine. ! Thank you very much for your help!
