I’m using the latest version of WordPress 4.2.3. on my site https://fchcc.com. When I log in, it says one of my plugins needs an update but I can’t find what plugin it is because all of them say they’re updated.

    The error says:
    Plugin Name:
    Current Plugin Version:
    New Plugin Version: 2.0.1
    Severity: Critical

You need to upgrade ” ” to the newest version to ensure you have any security fixes the developer has released.

It doesn’t list the name and version of the plugin in question. Need help because this is driving me crazy! Thanks!

A blank plugin name in a warning is usually caused by themes that have plugins embedded in them, that aren’t in your normal WordPress Installed Plugins list.

    More details are here:
    Blank plugin name

A recent plugin with version number 2.0.1 is “Frontend Builder,” which sounds like a possibility. If you check with your theme’s author, they should be able to tell you if they included this plugin, and if they will release an update soon. If you have extra themes installed, you might need to check those too, or you can remove them if you don’t plan to use them again.

Thank you, I had to trace the error and finally found out the plugin that comes with the theme didn’t alert me that there was an update. I had to deactivate the plugin, rename it via FTP and upload the latest version, activate it and then delete the older version. Strange that I had to go through these steps to update this particular plugin. All fixed now!
