I’ve recently developed a testing version that could fix this issue. Please download this testing version, manually update to that version, and try updating your theme again.

Let me know if this fixes your issue. Once I get enough testing feedback, I plan on releasing the updated version.

    Still shows an error

I got the same error trying to update!

I’ve taken a completely new approach to how the plugin works in a new development version. It doesn’t require selecting “Yes” from a drop down or any other interaction. Simply upload the desired plugin or theme, and the plugin takes care of all the details for you.

Please give it a try. You can get it here (note that this is the same link I gave above but the plugin available at that link has been completely updated).

Not worked fro me the one you updated, after upload i waited for the response but no avail, it goes blank and then i manually returned to my dashboard.

I had a bug in the code at one point yesterday. That may be what is causing your issue. Can you try downloading it fresh and trying again?

If that doesn’t work, I’ll need some more information to know what is happening. I’m fairly certain that a fatal error is occurring, but the details of a fatal error are hidden by default. The details can be found in the site’s error log. Please see if you can get those details from the error log and share them here. If you cannot access the error log, enabling WP_DEBUG should cause the fatal error details to render in your browser when you try to recreate the issue.

Please see if you can get those error details and share them with me.

Hi thanks for response. I have to configure log file first which I did through another plugin. I downloaded fresh, from your message link yesterday, but is not that the same file.

Anyhow I tried, it mainly saying error on line 257 and its for many file. I am just copying one msg here
{22-Jul-2016 18:18:37 UTC] PHP Warning: copy(/***********/wp-content/upgrade/revslider/revslider/admin/assets/imports/photography-carousel/slide3.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermespromos/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 257

The link points to the zip file of the current development version, so it changes as I update the development version.

Do you see any lines that have “PHP Fatal error:” rather than “PHP Warning:”? The fatal error lines will give me the most information.

If you’re able, you can send the full log to [email protected]. Please provide a link back to this issue so that I know where the log came from.

Its uploaded successfully, the idea of your plugin is in case we need to upload manually theme or plugin from our files in computer it will be uploaded without any problem.

Some errors came on revslider plugin and I have sent you the files in case you need to workout anything else

I had the same problem. Your development version worked for me, thank you!

    Hi Chris.

Firstly thanks for creating such a great plugin!

I was running into the same issue as other users and followed your advice on this thread.

As you instructed I downloaded the dev version and it works a breeze on my site.

    Cheers.

    Hello Chris,

When will be released final version on wordpress plugin store? Should I use your developed version on your site or wait final version for use production web-site?

Thank you for your effort and solved the problem.

Whew, I was tearing my hair out because this plugin worked well before. The dev plugin fixed my site (a project where the tight fisted server admins refuse to give me sftp access)
