    Good morning. I’ve been using the Online Backup plugin for WordPress for many months now. What an excellent product! I did, however receive the following error for the last 2 days:
    Error The activity failed: The connection to your blog failed. This may be a temporary failure or your blog may not be accessible over the internet. Please try again later.

    I tried to find this error message in the FAQs and support threads with no luck.

    Any ideas? Many thanks!

    Hi toggerybob,

    We discovered a routing problem in the data centre that affected the WordPress backups. All other traffic routed around but the WordPress traffic didn’t. This was fully resolved Saturday and preventative measures added. Apologies for any inconvenience.

    Backups should work as normal now.

    We have been experiencing the same error again. Many of our sites are showing:
    The activity failed: The connection to your blog failed. This may be a temporary failure or your blog may not be accessible over the internet. Please try again later.

    Any ideas?

    Also, is there a notification process that can occur when these backups fail? We sometimes don’t know about failures for months.
