    Dear Marcel,

    I placed your guestbook on our wedding site and it looks wonderful after some customization of the overall site theme.

    However, some guest told me they couldn’t post and get an error. I tried it myself and got the error “ERROR: That action is currently not allowed.” (without login as admin). Other people reported “ERROR: Message appears to be spam.”

    Any clues?

    Perhaps I can help. Those error messages are from WP-SpamShield, which provides protection for Gwolle GB forms (and other form plugins).

    I’d recommend first checking our Troubleshooting Guide and FAQs, as those help users solve most issues. If those don’t help you fix the issue, then you can feel free to submit a support request, and we’ll be happy to help you debug the issue.

    You’re welcome. ?? No need to turn it off. It’s not that the plugin is too strong or anything like that…it’s more likely a simple conflict or configuration issue that’s completely preventing it from working properly. These can be easily fixed by checking out the Troubleshooting Guide. (Literally 15 minutes or so.) Those types of issues are likely to cause problems with other plugins or WordPress code later on, so it’s worth looking into sooner than later. And if you can’t figure it out, that’s where we’re happy to help. ??
