I recently marked a post with the same title ‘resolved’, but it isn’t resolved…

I’m having to manually translate the error messages in the registration and login form, and I’ve managed to do all of them except one:

‘ERROR: The password field is empty’

I’ve been able to find and translate the ‘The password field is empty’ part, but the ‘ERROR:’ that goes with it will not change, for some reason. I’ve used the String Locator plugin to find and change every instance of ‘ERROR’ to ‘VERHE’ (the Finnish translation) but still, it won’t change for this one particular error message.

The site language is changed to Finnish, all ‘ERROR:’ strings are translated to ‘VERHE:’, and yet this one error message still shows with ‘ERROR:’.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @dancappdesign,

    Thank you for writing back,

As we have mentioned this error text translation is not under our plugin. If you check the WordPress public support forum then you will get a better solution for this or you can contact the translation plugin support then they can provide you the proper instruction for these default WordPress error message translation tips.

    Regards!
