Hi?@ukhelpneeded
Hope you are doing fine!
As a first step make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin (1.22.1) then try if deleting and re-adding the PayPal field solves the issue.
If performing the suggested steps doesn’t make any change, it may be necessary to gather more info. Please, enable the debug mode temporarily and/or perform a plugin conflict test.
- Enable the debug mode by following this guide
https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/
Then try to reproduce the error again, after that, check the wp-content folder for a debug.log file and share this file with us which could help to identify the possible issue.
- Also a a full plugin/theme conflict test is suggested in this type of scenario. Make sure you have recent backups and perform this operation on your dev/staging site if possible.
To learn more about a plugin conflict test, please see this guide below:
https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#conflict-test
Basically, you’ll need to deactivate all plugins, except Forminator and switch to a basic theme. Then test if the issue persists. If it doesn’t then start activating the plugins one by one until you identify the one causing the issue.
You can also check out this handy flowchart of the troubleshooting process detailed above.

Please, let know the results of the conflict test and also share the error logs using Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. This information will help us provide precise assistance.
Kind regards
Luis
