• The site has been moved from a temp url to sjaellandrundt.dk while an old version of the site was running on the sjaellandrundt.dk domain.

The old site had Site Kit, and while still building the new site on the temp URL. SiteKit was also setup there.

Now, after DNS changes to the new site – SiteKit returns: URL already in use.

I can’t access the old site via WP-admin, but have file access – if that helps.

    What to do ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out @dejliglama. So we can advise on this further, we require some additional information in order to troubleshoot this further or get you connected. Please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??Within the form please share the previous temp URLs wp-admin path or any other changes to the site URL (ie. was it is a subdirectory).
    2. While you have no access to the previous wp-admin, as the files still remain intact from that previous site with the previously used database remains active? I ask as if it’s possible to regain access, you can then set up Site Kit from there in order to reset the plugin (as this will reset all records on the Site Kit service)

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Once we have this information we can advise on the next steps, which may be to include a www path in your site URLs in order to proceed, or to update your site records on the service.

I’m just following up with you to check whether the error remains? If so please share the information requested above and we can investigate further.

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
