Error sending password reset email from link on login page

  • When I click the forgot password link and enter and email address and submit, I get an error: An error has occured. Please try again.

    When I go to the default wp-admin login page to request a password change that sends the email fine.

    Any ideas ??

  • Which version of Login With Ajax and WordPress are you using?

    Which link are you clicking?

    same problem for many of my members
    wordpress 4.6
    ajax 3.1.6

    often the forgot password link goes no where too

    Hi, I’ve just tried this out and works fine forme. Do any of you have a sample link for us to see it in action?

    something always worth trying is disabling other plugins and/or switching to the default WP theme, since any of these may have functionality preventing the remember password functionality in WP itself.
