Currently have received the above error after moving hosting to GoDaddy.com. They indicated that this could be an .htaccess problem. Since I am not a coder, I need to see what this should include to resolve this problem, OR any other ideas that might be hindering me. I have changed all files and subdirectories permissions and ran the gambit on that and still no results. From what I can see I have tried most if not all the suggestions but this .htaccess one, but need to see what should be included.

    Thank you in advance.!

  • From your WordPress admin dashboard go to Settings->Media seems. There should be part that tells you to enter the path to the uploads directory, just disable it.

Can’t remember the option but you should be able to fix it there.
The problem is that your former upload directory from your former host is that one that is still active.
