Hello.
I asked in another old topic, but Pepe prompted me to create a new topic. Thank you very much.

After the logged-in user completes the payment, the message “Error Saving Customer. Reason:” is displayed. It doesn’t seem to happen with guest customers.

This error does not affect the operation of the website. The website will continue to function normally and the user will be able to complete the payment.

I cleared my cookies and tested again. However, I still get the same error. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Let’s start with investigating for conflicts.

Can you please perform a conflict test on your site and let us know of your findings?

Here are some steps you can follow:

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to:

1. Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty theme.
2. Try to reproduce the problem: Check whether you still encounter the issue!

If the problem is resolved, it’s a theme conflict. If not, continue to the next steps.

3. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. You can do this manually or use a plugin to help (see below for tools).
4. Try to reproduce the problem again. If the problem is resolved, it’s a plugin conflict. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, continue to the next step.
5. Reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

I was able to solve the problem!
I should have asked you after investigating all the conflicts. Since there was a topic with the same title, I assumed it was a known and well-known bug. I apologize for wasting your precious time.

I will be happy to provide you with a detailed report.
I tried 1&2 but the error didn’t go away. So it wasn’t a theme issue.

After trying 3, I realized the problem was having both “Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce” and “WooCommerce Square” enabled at the same time. Maybe I didn’t notice because I didn’t have Stripe enabled as a payment method.

In my conflict research this time, I also found conflicts between “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway”, “Japanized for WooCommerce”, and “WooCommerce Advanced Free Shipping”.

All three of these plugins worked until I disabled them, but when I enabled them again, “WooCommerce Advanced Free Shipping” stopped working.

Also, “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway” and “Japanized for WooCommerce” were warned as fatal errors and “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway” could not be enabled again.

In the first place, “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway” is an old plug-in with alternative plug-ins distributed, and “Japanized for WooCommerce” also has a PayPal module, so I decided to use it. Everything is working fine now. Thank you very much.
