    Thanks. I’ll have a look at the line you mentioned (though it’s just a warning, so it shouldn’t stop the widget from working outright).

    After updating to 1.5.2, make sure you save the widget settings again (you don’t have to change anything) to clear the cache, and then re-load your website.

    If 1.5.2 truly doesn’t work, then I have no idea what could cause the bug. In 1.5.2 I have essentially reverted to 1.5.0, which, as you say yourself, worked fine until recently. Since the widget itself hasn’t changed since before it stopped working, then something else outside the widget must have caused the problems. This is also supported by the fact that your exact settings work fine when I test them myself. Perhaps your website host changed anything?

    One more question: When you experienced the bug, were you using version 1.5.0 (released a good while ago) or 1.5.1 (released just before your bug report)?

    I’ve started seeing “Error retrieving data from Goodreads. Retrying in 55 minutes.” on my site too, which has worked fine in the past. Has anyone made progress on finding the cause of this problem?

    @emrecalisir, please check out the new version 1.5.4 which should prevent many of the “Error retrieving data from Goodreads” messages people have been seeing.

    My problem also still continues on my website https://www.emrecalisir.com. After hearing that there is an available update, I activated the plugin again, and I tried with a new generated API key but it still gets error, and there is not any error log in my log file.

    Ok, I’m sad to hear that it’s still a problem for you. When I use your user ID on my own blog, it works fine for all of your shelves, so I still have no idea what could be the problem now.
