The shelf name should be “currently-reading”, since that’s what it’s called on Goodreads.

    Name of shelf on Goodreads:
    currently-reading

    still the same error..

Sorry, I have no idea why it doesn’t work. I’ve tested with your settings and everything works fine. It must be something local to your site or webhost – nothing I can do about that, sorry.

PS, note that some caching plugins may interfere with proper GR Progress Widget operation (I’m using it successfully with caching plugins, but you never know).

Also, you could try deactivating all other plugins on your site and see if it helps. It it works, then enable the plugins again one by one, testing after each one, and see if any other plugin interferes with GR Progress Widget.

Hi, thank you for your suggestions. Is there a place to see the error logs? If there is, we can understand the root cause.. Thanks

If I recall correctly, I have not implemented any specific error logs for the widget. Maybe WordPress itself logs some stuff, but I have no idea about that. It probably wouldn’t pick up anything from the widget.

I’m having the exact same issue with no answer as to how to fix it. I’ve tried everything. Maybe it’s the widget itself?

Since I have received a few other reports since making a small change to the plugin, I have now reverted the changes I made. Please update the plugin to version 1.5.2 and try again.

I configured my WordPress to see debug logs. Here they are.. As you may see, there is a “undefined variable” error..

Those are error messages from something called “Pretty_Simple_Progress_Widget”. It’s got nothing to do with my widget. ??

But thanks for checking out the debug log.

And please check if the updated widget version 1.5.2 works.

The updated 1.5.2 also gets the same error
