When renaming 2023/11/3.jpg using the title “Good Hydration”, the result was 202good-hydration/11/3.jpg. This is likely because the search pattern for the replacement isn’t strict enough and simply replace the first occurence of 3 with the new name, rather than the correct occurrence.

The file 2023/09/2.jpg was renamed to home-water023/09/2.jpg, again by matching the first occurrence of 2.

2023/11/1.jpg was renamed to 2023/workplace-water-dispenser1/1.jpg. Same issue.

    Please fix this.

I couldn’t reproduce the issue you are experiencing. Could you please provide more details about the settings you are using?

Thank you! Could you please share the various settings you use within the plugin so that I can attempt to reproduce this behavior on my end? If possible, you can send screenshots, which would make it easier! ??

    Method: Based on Media Title

Extra options: Rename on Upload enabled

The rest of the settings don’t seem relevant.

To reproduce: rename a file to 1.jpg, 2.jpg or 3.jpg, upload to WordPress, then edit its title and check its metadata and/or embed it in a post and check the HTML (should be responsive with all the thumbnails listed).

This is still not resolved in the latest version. Please keep investigating.

    Hey?@galbaras! ??

I’ve followed the steps you provided, but I can’t reproduce this issue on a fresh install. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the plugin and that you have a supported version of both PHP and WordPress.

Additionally, check if no other plugins are interfering with the process of renaming files, and make sure there are no filters that might also be causing interference. Thanks ! ??

If you are incorporating your images into your WordPress website using a specific third-party plugin, please let me know, as this could be related to the issue. Thanks!

I’m already on supported versions of both PHP and WordPress. I can also confirm that the problem occurs with the very latest version of the plugin, with other image-related plugins deactivated.

Maybe I didn’t explain this properly. The actual filename is OK. The problem is with the meta data and the embed code produced by WordPress.

Can you please look at the meta data and/or embed the image in a post and check if the HTML markup is responsive and contains all the thumbnails?
