Hi, we installed “Heroic Glossery” for setting up language specified glosseries for an inhouse styleguide. We have started this project back in june/july 2022 and since, we haven’t edited it anymore.
We want to start editing again but that is currently not possible because we run into the following:

The following message is showing in the editor:
“Your site doesn’t include support for the Heroic Glossary block. You can try installing the block, convert it to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.”
With the 2 options: “Install Heroic Glossary” and “Keep as HTML”

When choosing “Install Heroic Glossary,” it gives this error:
“Error registering block. Try reloading the page.”

After reloading the page and trying again to “Install Heroic Glossary” it keeps showing the error.

“Keep as HTML” will not be an option.

How can we get to edit again?
    Thank you for your help

Looking at the Console, the plugin throws a Javascript error: Uncaught ReferenceError: lodash is not defined. Since the plugin has not been updated in over 2 years, I suspect it’s not fully compatible with the latest Block editor.

We were able to resolve this by adding in the “lodash” script library as a dependency for the blocks.build.js script when the script is registered in heroic-glossary/dist/ht-glossary-init.php on line 26

Hi. I have the same problem. Is there any way to solve it from WordPress dashboard?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @gabrielone

Thanks for the that, you’re correct, so we’ve rolled that suggestion as a fix in version 1.2.4.

@contentone, @ohtusabes – please update to Heroic Glossary version 1.2.4 and let me know how that works for you.

    Kind Regards,

    Richard
