    Hi,

    As others have reported, we’re getting an error when trying to refund a WooCommerce Order. The message displayed to the UI is:

    “An error occurred while attempting to create the refund using the payment gateway API.”

    The info written to the log files is:

    Hi @chrisstanyon,

    We are still looking into this error with our partners at PayPal but it seems to have been caused by a change on PayPal’s end.
    If you’re encountering this error, refunding directly at PayPal should still work but we’ll try to let you know as soon as there is a better workaround available or a solution in place.

    we believe we have resolved this issue with our upcoming release. If you want to test our fix, then please test it with our current beta version.
