Hello, I’ve installed UpdraftPlus to make backups on a WP site, and am sending them to a Google Drive account I recently set up especially for them. When I do a database-only backup the log seems fine, but when I do a full files backup the log includes this warning:

    5589.507 (10) Google Drive quota usage: failed to obtain this information: Error refreshing the OAuth2 token, message: ‘{
    “error” : “invalid_request”,
    “error_description” : “Missing required parameter: refresh_token”
    }’

There are several repeated instances of this warning. Then the process just seems to carry on. To all appearances the backup has worked. The final line of the log says “The backup apparently succeeded and is now complete”. The ZIP files all seem to be present in Google Drive. But why then am I getting these errors in the log?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the full backup log?
The contents of this log will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

Thanks for the quick response. It was too long for Pastebin so it’s in two parts:

    https://pastebin.com/RybQv8iv
    https://pastebin.com/WVHQVrCc

The errors start at line 5589.
    I appreciate your assistance.

    Hi,

The issue appears to be due to the long time it takes to upload the backup files to Google Drive. The backup process is running so long that it appears that the connection to Google Drive is being cut off and blocked.

Please could you ask your hosts/sever admin to check any security or outgoing firewall logs, and see if there is a record of the connection being blocked there?

    Regards,
    Bryle

Hello, thanks for the response. I told the host what you said and they replied that the IP and server are not blocking any logs and they see no conflicts from cPanel.

I also note this message in UpdraftPlus:
“Warning: WordPress has a number (5) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working.”

I don’t know if this is related. But I told the host and asked if they were responsible, and they said: “If this were cron, we can assist you how to create it but if it does not execute, the path maybe incorrect therefore, you need to contact a developer.”

Not very helpful. Can you advise on a next step?

    Thanks for your time.
