    Hello,

    I run 2 online stores and since the latest update the customers are not able to pay with credit/debit card anymore, they get this error message: “Error processing checkout. Please try again.”. This also resulted in many failed orders and many lost sales. I tried to disconnect the PayPal account and connect it back, still the same error message. I had to switch off the PayPal Card Processing option and waiting for your reply.

  • @joyryde What plugin from PayPal did you install instead?

    It’s their new PayPal plugin, like their Stripe plugin. It’s in beta testing currently but will be available soon. If you want to beta test it you can contact them.

    I am also facing the same issue with PayPal credit card payment option. All of my plugins are up to date. Please advise me what is the solution to fix this issue.

    I was able to get ahold of someone from PayPal through their integration line. It turns out that “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” is still in a trial version and is not actively ready for market. I was told that in the next couple of weeks or so that an update will be published that resolves all these issue.

    As to what to do for now?

    I was told to revert back to “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway” for the time being. Come March 1st when the old plugin support expires, I was told to use the “Angelleye” plugin to accept payments of credit cards via PayPal.

    @tylerw23 Nice job getting a hold of them. I’m confused though. This is a trial version?? It doesn’t mention that on the landing page or change log. Also, they said they’re going to fix in next couple of weeks? So why are they suggesting Angelleye integration??

    @toolbeltscharlie Evidently. They’re suggesting to go back to “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway” til March 1st. Then, if there is an issue with the new plug in, to use Angelleye which is a certified partner of PayPal. I feel that Angelleye isn’t normally advertised because I can only assume that they take part of PayPal’s fees.

    I’m not sure why they’re advertising everyone to swap if the new plugin isn’t market ready.

    So this issue is NOT resolved by the sounds of it ?

    My 2 clients are now having issues with this plugin also.

    I am building a listing website on woocommerce and wilcity. When I click on “place order” in checkout page, I get the following error message “Error processing checkout. Please try again”. I’ve tried different payment gateways (stripe, paypal, woocommerce payment, cash pay, etc) but stiil same issue. Need help figuring out a fix.Thanks.
