This error could be fired by the WooCommerce default stripe feature. Please note that WordPress recommends PHP version 5.6.

Thanks for the reply. I upgraded php to 5.6 already
I uninstalled and tried another stripe plugin and I think the error has to do with the fact that my sever uses TLS 1.0

There’s a problem that the plugin doesn’t say what’s the source of the errors but just generate a general one

Try our plugin which will work with both TLS and SSL.
