At first glance, this issue seems to be caused by a theme or plugin conflict. Let’s check if there is an error on the WooCommerce Logs. So please, provide us the following:

• System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
• Error log: share a copy of the fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available)

Also, could you please do a conflict test one more time by following the steps below?

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Before you start

1. First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. Most hosting companies have this included in the subscription, but you could also consider using a service like?Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.
2. Second, I would suggest installing a plugin called?Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

You may also see a response of -1, This is a security failure and is caused by a cached nonce.

However, the solution they mention is to deactivate plugins in case one is causing the problem, an action that I have already carried out without success.

It all seems very strange and nothing seems to fix it.

I’ve been having a similar issue with a 403 error on wc-ajax=update_order_review. It only happens when an existing user logs in via the checkout page.

New users don’t have this problem, and neither do users that log in with the default wordpress login page, then add items to the cart.

Seems to me this is an issue with the woocommerce login process.

Hello, thanks for answering, it could be related to what you comment, however, in my case it does not happen like that. The final solution that I could find after so many attempts was to install WordPress and theme from scratch in a different folder within my hosting. I practically started everything from scratch, both the installation of WordPress, to installing again and configuring WooCommerce, since I only migrated my site (without the store) from the XML backup file. Although both sites are identical in settings, this new installation no longer presents the original problem. The checkout works again and the payments are already made without any problem.

It seems very strange and I have not been able to identify where the fault may be, but luckily it has already been fixed in this somewhat drastic way.
